¨ The healing of patients (Ramdoss, Periyasamy, Iyyaperumal, Perumal, Sornam and Pitchammal) from infected ulcers.
¨ Monthly old age pension sanctioned by government for leprosy patient- Subbiah, was abandoned by his family.
¨ Health Education and training on Leprosy was given to students of Nehru B.Sc Nursing College, Vallioor.
¨ Participation in the workshop for Allied Health Professionals, conducted by CMAI.

¨ Successful evaluation to identify the impact of VTC and approach towards community based functioning, conducted in four districts of Chhattisgarh.
¨ The placement of graduates -84% - within two months of completion of their training.
Community based training started for female Self Help Groups which is yielding fruitful results.
Pray for
ØPrahalad, VTC trainee who lost his mother recently; his father had also passed away a few years ago.
ØThe newly appointed Instructors Mrs. Joythi (Tailoring) and Mr. Immanuel (Electric)
ØThe community based training at Bargawa and Raigarh in driving, mushroom and mobile repairing.

¨ The nine disabled and marginalized women assisted with four swing machine and five tri cycles through networking.
¨ Four training sessions conducted for 35 newly selected volunteers in different capacities of community development.
Pray for
ØThe complete recovery of Mrs. Santosh (office assistant) who had a leg muscle injury while driving scooter.
ØFive disabled youth are going to start small petty business in their respective community through income generation programme.
ØThe goal of securing 150 disability certificates for the deserving during the months November -December.

¨ Praise God for the services and health work among the HIV affected.
Pray for
ØGod’s protection on Dr. Paul Mathew and team caring for affected mothers and infants, under the risk of exposure. (four babies were born to HIV mothers during last month)
ØNagalaxmi and her husband (both are HIV+) who came to have their third child delivered at the hospital. While on the bed improving after the caesarean operation, she listened to the good news and personally accepted the Lord as her savior. Pray for her spiritual growth.
ØThe five girls who are doing their nursing at different schools (2 completed and 3 on the third year); pray for their spiritual life and future service.

DISABILITY RIGHTS THROUGH NGO NET WORKING, THIRUVANNAMALAI
¨ Praise God for His help in forming 140 ‘Pressure Groups’. (being renamed as Panchayat level Groups) and the ongoing process of orientation.
Pray for
ØThe Block level Federation, being planned by the representatives of the Panchayat level Groups; pray that the group members will actively participate and comprehend the information.
Ø Networking with the Non Medical Supervisors (NMS) of the District to continue
ØArranging medical camps in the Block level and to refer right patients for RCS.
The staff who travel through the target villages that they would be protected during this rainy season.

¨ The recent visits to VTC made by Mr. Chengalrayudu, Chairman, and Members of Legislative Council of Andhra Pradesh.
¨ The protection of Mr. Gabriel Pani (Principal) and family who met with a road accident while travelling by car but saved miraculously without any injuries.
ØPray for the speedy recovery of trainees who are sick due to climate changes; and for their studies.
ØGood rains during the season to have sufficient ground water.

Several NGOs like NIRMAN, DAS, BANDHAN, Vidyasagar Social Welfare Club, and 25 volunteers and community leaders attended the programme where Mr. Shiiba Prasad Sengupta , (Officer In charge of Training and Marketing) from Govt. of West Bengal participated.
¨ The awareness among the communities about the benefits of institutional deliveries.

¨ The nine leprosy patients from TLM Almora mercy home, who had Cataract surgeries.
¨ Mr Pankaj (Physio Therapist) blessed with a baby boy last month.
¨ The smooth functioning of the hospital during the Common Wealth Games in the capital city.
Pray for
ØThe speedy recovery of patients who had RCS during last month.
ØRaja Ram (patient) who had a plastic surgery done for his nose.
ØVictor George (son of Mrs Neela George, staff) who is still in a very critical condition.
COMPREHENSIVE REHABILITATION
Praise God and Pray for programmes - Catch Them Young (CTY), Socio Economic Rehabilitation (SER), Low-Cost Housing (LCH), and Re-uniting, which work through TLM Hospitals, Projects and Partner Institutions. Pray that all these measures will benefit the most deserving among the leprosy affected people.
